We have had a great relationship with the CB500X for many years, now get ready to explore even more rugged terrain and conquer new challenges with the all-new Level 1 and Level 2 suspension upgrade kits for the 500cc parallel twin from Honda. Alongside the suspension upgrades, we have updated our existing wheel kits to offer both an "Adventure" and "Premium" option.
We have been riding our upgraded model for the last 6 months, and its fair to say this under-rated bike from Honda still ticks many boxes for many people. Capable of overland travel, RTW trips or maybe just the local gravel trail.
Suspension Updates
The newest model of the CB500X has a host of welcomed changes,and we have been riding and testing our 2022+ model for some time now, enjoying the benefits of the full Level 2 Suspension Kit that increases travel and lifts the bike 20mm, through means of our exclusive shock unit and linkage which offers both low/high speed compression and rebound damping capabilities. This is finished off with our fork upgrade kit.
As always, for those riders who are looking for a balance of quality and height the Level 1 Suspension Kits are provided incase the rider wishes to retain the OEM seat height or use their CBX for light trail and road to overcome the under damped OEM shock unit and soft fork unit.
Both Level 1 and Level 2 units will have the option to have the Tractive Suspension hydraulic preload system fitted when ordering.
Wheel Updates
We are well into production of our latest wheel kits for the CBX,the first sets arriving soon. With a sizable outstanding waiting list from our customers, we will be contacting customers who have patiently waited before releasing them to the public.
We now offer a "Adventure" and "Premium" option for the CB500X of all years in a 19"/17" wheelset. The Adventure option features a tubed type configuration, supplied with rim tape and finished with powder coat black rims and heavy duty stainless spokes.
The Premium option consists of the same 19"/17" configuration but features Taskago Excel anodised gold rims, BarTubless tube-less conversion, finished with the same heavy duty stainless spokes and nickel plated nipples.
