The Scorpion Serket Taper silencer is one of the most compact and stylish silencers available for CB500X, and not only compliments the overall styling, but is usefully more compact (helping to avoid damage when the bike is being ridden off-road) and offers increased heel-clearance for the rider's right foot.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, this lightweight silencer is finished in brushed stainless-steel, and includes a dedicated stainless steel mid-pipe for direct fit to the original exhaust header - allowing the OEM Catalytic Converter to be retained.
Fitting this silencer gives a 1.1 Hp gain, and 1.7Kg (3.75lb) weight saving over standard.
There is a modest increase of 1.5dB in noise, and an overall deeper tone.
